The fourth quarter of 2024 saw varied performance trends among the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Egypt, according to Sensor Tower data.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting at around 22K downloads, the app saw a peak of 28K in early October before declining to approximately 5K in early December. The downloads then surged to 23K by the end of December. Weekly active users also varied, starting at 437K and peaking at 512K mid-October, before a drop to 237K in early December and a recovery to nearly 295K by the year's end.

McDonald’s had a steady increase in downloads, starting at around 10K and peaking at 31K in late December. Active users began at 445K, fluctuated throughout the quarter, and ended at 365K.

Heart Attack | Fried Chicken saw a significant drop in downloads from 30K at the quarter's start to about 1.4K by the end. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 30K to around 6K.

Buffalo Burger downloads showed moderate activity, peaking at 8.2K in October before settling at around 3K by year-end. Active users grew steadily, starting at 31K and reaching a high of 46K in early December before slightly dropping to 37K.

Pizza Hut Egypt-Order Food Now maintained consistent downloads, with numbers hovering between 2K and 5K throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, starting at 28K and ending at 25K.
